WE NEED YOU AT OUR SPRING AND FALL CLEAN-UP DAYS!
We'll begin with about 35 volunteers at 9:00 AM, and hope that you can stay as long as possible ending up at about 4:00 PM. You can anticipate that food will be available around mid-day. Of course with the healthy physical activity there's plenty of conversation to trade! Come join us!
Typical Tasks:
• Parking Lot: Fix Potholes, Regrade the Gravel, Repaint Stripes
• Lawn: Rake and Fertilize the Lawn
• Neatening and Edging: Property along Lonetown Road
• Landscaping: Weed Garden beds, Prune, Remove Plants, Spread Weed Killer
• Forsythia Bed: Trim Suckers, Spread Mulch, Neaten
• Painting: Touch-Up Building Trim around Windows, Doors and Railings
Tools Needed:
• Paint Supplies:
• Assorted Paint Buckets
• Brushes, Rags, Paper Towels
• Paint Thinner
• Gardening/Landscaping Supplies:
• Work Gloves, Suntan Oil, Hat, Kneel Pads--if you need them
• Wheelbarrows
• Grub Hoe, Forks, Rakes, Spades, Shovels, Picks
• Garden hand tools
• Weed Killer Spray Tank
